With the exception of a thunderstorm nothing is more soothing than hearing the violent prairie winds coming from the north, whooshing through the trees and mangling the neighbor's wind chime.
I lived in Colorado for a few years, seeing the lightning storms off in the distance on the plains late at night was rather neat... the entire horizon was lit up for a few seconds at a time almost as bright as day.
I enjoyed Jim's comment about "2 or 40" wind chimes. I can definitely relate. My neighbor has several chimes as well. The wind can be an obnoxious musician.

Lol. Kill the wind chime. I love the wind too.....
My neighbor has 2 or 40 or those things making peaceful, lulling sounds.
Why do I feel like making him swallow them one by one? :)
Wind chimes can be cool.
